Kelvin Solco (Pastor K) is the Senior Pastor and Visionary leader of VCC. Kelvin is a Motivational Speaker, Inspirational Preacher, a Financial Literacy Teacher, and a Business Consultant! Pastor Kelvin has traveled and preached in many states, including Texas, Georgia, Pennsylvania, Arizona, and others. Kelvin was born in Orange, Texas

Evangelist Solco was born in Augusta, Georgia, and she is a retired distinguished teacher in the Port Arthur Independent School District. Evangelist Ellen holds a bachelors degree from Lamar University. Evangelist Solco is also a gifted artist that specializes in painting outdoor landscape themes. Evangelist Solco has many other gifts and talents including making beautiful custom costume jewelry.

He began as a substitute teacher at Thomas Jefferson High School and was certified as a Texas educator 3 years later. Deacon McCoy earned a B

Dear Victory Family and Friends,
Grace and peace to you in the mighty name of Jesus!
What an amazing season of blessings, fellowship, and spiritual growth we are experiencing at Victory Christian Church! God continues to move in a mighty way, and I want to personally thank each of you for your prayers, faithfulness, generosity, and commitment to our church family. Our mission remains the same: sharing the love of Jesus Christ, strengthening families, and making a positive difference in our community.

Our October 31, 2026 Fall Festival was a HUGE SUCCESS!
A heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who helped make this wonderful community event possible! Whether you volunteered, donated food or candy, helped with games and activities, prepared refreshments, welcomed visitors, or simply attended, your participation made a difference.
It was a blessing to see families, children, and neighbors coming together for a day filled with fun, laughter, fellowship, and Christian love.
Special thanks to everyone who worked behind the scenes to make the festival a success. Your servant hearts continue to demonstrate what Victory Christian Church is all about!

As we enter this season of Thanksgiving, I encourage each of you to pause and reflect on how good God has been to us.
We may not have everything we want, but we certainly have reasons to be thankful. Let us remember to pray for one another, encourage those who are struggling, support our families, and share our blessings with those in need.
The Bible reminds us:

Winter 2026 Prayer Focus – From Apartments to Houses of Their Own
This month, our church-wide prayer focus is bold and faith-filled: we are believing God to move many of our members and families from apartments and rental housing into homes of their own.
Prayer: Father, in the name of Jesus, bless our members with homes of their own. Open doors of favor, provide the necessary resources, and grant wisdom and discipline. We believe You are able to do exceeding abundantly above all we ask or think. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Old Testament Blessing Trivia Question
Q: According to 1 Kings 17, what happened when a widow in Zarephath trusted God and used her last handful of flour and little oil to prepare food for the prophet Elijah?
A: God miraculously provided for the widow and her household! Her flour did not run out, and her oil did not fail throughout the famine. Her faith and obedience opened the door for God's continued provision.

Thanksgiving Encouragement from Pastor K
As we celebrate Thanksgiving this November, let us remember two important lessons: God is our provider, and gratitude should always follow His blessings!
The widow trusted God even when her resources seemed insufficient, and the grateful man returned to Jesus to give thanks after receiving his healing.
Sometimes we spend so much time asking God for our next blessing that we forget to thank Him for the blessings we have already received.
This Thanksgiving, don't just count your blessings — remember to thank the One who provided them!
Keep believing, keep trusting, keep giving thanks, and keep walking by faith.

Old Testament Verse of the Month – Psalm 100:4–5 (KJV)
“Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.”
Think About This:
Thanksgiving is more than a holiday — it is a way of life!
Notice what the Psalmist tells us: “Enter into his gates with thanksgiving.” In other words, before we ask God for anything, we should take time to thank Him for everything He has already done!
Sometimes we become so focused on what we don't have that we forget the countless blessings we already enjoy. God has provided for us, protected us, strengthened us, and brought us through challenges we never thought we could overcome.
This November, let's make gratitude a daily habit. Thank God for your family, your health, your church, your friends, and even the small blessings we sometimes overlook.
Victory Family, a thankful heart is a victorious heart!
Let us enter His presence with thanksgiving, praise His holy name, and remember that His mercy never runs out!

Think About This:
Don't let worry steal your thanksgiving!
The Apostle Paul reminds us that even when life becomes difficult, we can approach God through prayer with a thankful heart.
Notice that Paul does not tell us to wait until every problem is solved before giving thanks. Instead, he teaches us to bring our concerns to God with thanksgiving!
That means we can thank God while we are still waiting for answers. We can praise Him while facing challenges. We can trust Him even when we cannot see what tomorrow holds.
And what does God promise? His peace!
Not necessarily an immediate solution to every problem, but a peace that goes beyond human understanding and guards our hearts and minds through Jesus Christ.
This Thanksgiving season, replace unnecessary worry with prayer, fear with faith, and complaining with gratitude.
Declare it with confidence:
I am thankful! I am blessed! I am walking in God's peace!
Stay prayerful. Stay thankful. Stay faithful. Stay victorious.
