Now that the revival is behind us, it's time to get back to work! This includes both spiritual work as well as physical work! The drainage project went well and the system seems to be working. We plan to continue tearing our old sheetrock from the classrooms as well as continue to move the excess dirt from the front of the property. If you can join us! If not, pray for us!
Last Sunday I preached a message titled "God will bless when He is impressed"! Here is a list of how you can make a good impression with God:
1. Plan to make a good impression. Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
2. Believe He can do anything! Luke 1:37 For with God nothing shall be impossible.
3. Listen to His word. Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
4. Walk by faith. 2 Corinthians 5:7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)
5. Have faith. Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
6. Study to show yourself approved. 2 Timothy2:15 “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”
7. Accept Jesus Christ and be saved! Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: [it is] the gift of God:
Victory today is yours!

Joshua 1:9 (NKJV) Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
November 2018 Question of the month
Why would a good God send bad people to “Hell” or the Lake of Fire?
Answer: Yes, God is good! But bad people that send themselves to “Hell” and the Lake of Fire. This is caused by the way they choose to live, their rejection of God’s grace through Jesus Christ, and their intentional disobedience of the will of our Holy, Sovereign, and Righteous God.
The book of the Revelation 21:6 - 8 says; “And He said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts. 7 He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son. 8 But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”
We must become overcomers of everything that is trying to lead us away from God’s perfect will for our lives if we don’t want to suffer throughout all eternity. If we are afraid to change or if we refuse to believe we can change, or if we commit ungodly acts and refuse to repent, then we are intentionally sending ourselves to the Lake of Fire. (Please don’t do this)!
According to the Bible, God does not want any of us to suffer eternally in Sheol, Hades, or the Lake of Fire! 2 Peter 3:9 says, “The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.” John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”
When we ask questions like why would God do something bad to someone, we are thinking of fairness from a human standpoint. God does not work on a fairness system or a merit system like people. We cannot know the full and complete mind of God, but we must believe in faith that He will do what is right and what is required. The Bible says in Isaiah 55:8 “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord. 9 “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts.”
So if you are concerned about the possibility of bad people going to “Lake of Fire”, then do everything in you power to prevent that from happening. You can start by asking them to read the Bible book of Mark (as an introduction to the Gospel); and then ask them to join a Bible-based Church (like ours)!
Psalm 41:11 By this I know that thou favourest me, because mine enemy doth not triumph over me.
Matthew 10:16 Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.
