Weekly Victory Message (Blog)

image153

The Weekly Victory! by "the Evangelist"

On Wednesday night, March 13, 2019, I preached a "Microwave Message" called "You are Qualified"!    I used the following verses from the Book of Isaiah Chapter 6:

Isaiah 6:1 In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, high and lifted up, and the train of His robe filled the temple.  2 Above it stood seraphim; each one had six wings: with two he covered his face, with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew.  3 And one cried to another and said: “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; The whole earth is full of His glory!” 4 And the posts of the door were shaken by the voice of him who cried out, and the house was filled with smoke. 5 So I said: “Woe is me, for I am undone! Because I am a man of unclean lips, And I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; For my eyes have seen the King, The Lord of hosts.”

Isaiah was called to be a Prophet of the Lord during a vision he experienced.  When he witnessed all of the amazing sights, sounds, and presence of the Holy God and His angels, he immediately though he was "unqualified" to experience such things.  What about you?  Have you ever said unclean words, or thought unclean thoughts?  Have you ever stolen anything? Have you ever slept in a bed you should not have slept in?  If you answered yes to any of these questions, then ask yourself, "Do I feel  qualified to serve God?

The answer is yes!  You are qualified!  You only need to accept the Lord Jesus as your savior, and tell God you are sorry (repent), and allow God to forgive you.  Then He will bless you and use you to bless others, no matter what you have done.  You will be amazed at how many things God can d through you!

Victory today is yours!

Monthly Prayer Theme

During the month March 2019 we will pray for people who need better employment opportunities!

Colossians 3:23 Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, 24 knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ. 25 For the wrongdoer will be paid back for the wrong he has done, and there is no partiality.

Frequently Asked Question

March  2019 Question of the month!

Why do I have to read the Bible?   Can't I just go to Church and let someone read it to me?

You must read the Bible because it is God's message to you.  The Words of the Bible will help you in many ways.  The Bible says in 2 Timothy 3:16 All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.

We must read the Bible to get wisdom and understanding of all matters of life.  The Bible says in Proverbs 16:16 How much better to get wisdom than gold! To get understanding is to be chosen rather than silver.

Reading the Bible and doing the things that it teaches us to do will make us successful.  The Bible says in Joshua 1:8 This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.

Finally there is nothing wrong with going to Church and letting someone read the Bible to you, but you must go home and double check what was read to you by reading it to yourself.  This is necessary because there are "false bible teachers" in the world.  You must make sure what you hear another person reads from the Bible is true.  The Bible says in 1 Timothy 6:3 If anyone teaches a different doctrine and does not agree with the sound words of our Lord Jesus Christ and the teaching that accords with godliness, 4 he is puffed up with conceit and understands nothing. He has an unhealthy craving for controversy and for quarrels about words, which produce envy, dissension, slander, evil suspicions, 5 and constant friction among people who are depraved in mind and deprived of the truth, imagining that godliness is a means of gain.

So set a goal to spend at least 15 minutes a day reading the Bible.  After 1 week, increase it to 30 minutes a day.  After about a month of this try to read more.  Read as much as you can and watch your victories increase!  .

Victory today is yours!
