Victory Christian Church of Port Arthur, Texas
Dear Victory Family and Friends,
The month of September is here—and God is calling us higher! At Victory Christian Church, we are not only reaching our city but also making an eternal impact around the world.
This month, we are focusing on a special Kingdom assignment: partnering with Christ Kingdom Builders Church in Lusaka, Zambia, and Holy Life Kingdom Builders Church in Malawi, Africa. These amazing ministries are sharing the Gospel, feeding the hungry, and raising up leaders in their nations. Your prayers, presence, and support are crucial as we help these churches grow stronger and spread the love of Jesus across continents.
Come early at 10:30 AM for coffee and donuts, then join our 11:00 AM Worship Experience filled with vibrant praise, life-changing teaching, and God’s presence. Whether you’ve been here before or this will be your first visit, YOU have a place here.
Together, we can strengthen our brothers and sisters in Zambia and Malawi while shining the light of Jesus here in Port Arthur / Beaumont / and Orange!
Let’s stay united, stay faithful, and stay VICTORIOUS—because Victory Today is Yours!
With joy and expectation,
Pastor Kelvin L. Solco (Pastor K)
Victory Christian Church

Old Testament Trivia Question (KJV)
Q: After committing a great sin, which king humbled himself before God and prayed for forgiveness, showing that God’s mercy is greater than our failures?
A: King David repented after his sin with Bathsheba, confessing his guilt and asking God to cleanse his heart.
Scripture Reference:
“Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.”
— Psalm 51:1 (KJV)
New Testament Trivia Question (KJV)
Q: When questioned about how many times one should forgive, what number did Jesus give to show that forgiveness should be limitless?
A: Jesus said to forgive “seventy times seven,” teaching that forgiveness has no end.
Scripture Reference:
“Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.”
— Matthew 18:22 (KJV)
Good Job! Victory today is yours! Sincerely, - Pastor K
BIBLE VERSES OF THE MONTH!
Old Testament Verse of the Month – Isaiah 40:31 (NKJV)
“But those who wait on the Lord
Shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint.”
Think about this:
Perseverance isn’t about rushing ahead; it’s about trusting God’s timing and strength. When life feels heavy or progress seems slow, God promises renewed energy and courage. Waiting on Him isn’t passive—it’s active faith that keeps us steady and strong until His perfect plan unfolds.
New Testament Verse of the Month – James 1:12 (NKJV)
“Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.”
Think about this:
True perseverance means holding firm in faith even when trials or temptations press hard. Every challenge endured with steadfast love for God shapes your character and leads to eternal reward. Your perseverance today is proof that God is preparing something glorious for tomorrow.

A Great Reason for Men to Come to Church
Find Real Brotherhood. Experience True Breakthroughs.
Scripture Reference (NKJV): “Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.” — Galatians 6:2
Men often carry the weight of family, work, and personal struggles in silence. But God never intended you to walk alone. The word bear means to lift, support, and help bring relief. At Victory Christian Church, you’ll find a brotherhood where men stand shoulder to shoulder—encouraging one another, praying together, and celebrating victories big and small.
If another church has ever disappointed you, give Victory a try. We believe in real relationships, straight talk, and the life-changing power of Jesus Christ. Whether you’re searching for direction, strength, or simply a place to belong, there’s a seat waiting for you!
Come as you are. Bring a brother, a co-worker, or a neighbor. Victory Today is Yours!
