Dear Victory Family and Friends,
The fall season is here—and God is calling us higher! At Victory Christian Church, we continue to impact lives locally and globally, spreading hope, faith, and love wherever God leads us.
As we move through October and into November, there are several exciting things happening at Victory! Don’t miss our Noonday Prayer on Thursday, October 31, 2025, as we gather to thank God for His goodness and seek His guidance for the new season ahead. Then, mark your calendars for Saturday, November 1, 2025, for our Victory Women’s Meeting, immediately followed by our first-ever Gumbo Cookoff! Bring your appetite and your best gumbo recipe as we enjoy fun, fellowship, and a friendly competition that celebrates both food and faith!
This month also brings special moments of family joy—Sister Dee and I are proud to announce the birth of our new grandson, Weston Joseph Solco, born October 8, 2025! We thank God for His precious new gift and the growing Solco family.
Be sure to visit JoinVictory.org to stay informed about my upcoming speaking engagements and other exciting ministry opportunities. God continues to open doors for Victory to share the Gospel far and wide, and we are walking through each one with faith and expectation.
Come early each Sunday at 10:30 AM for coffee and donuts, then stay for our 11:00 AM Worship Experience, filled with vibrant praise, powerful teaching, and the undeniable presence of God. Whether you’re a returning member or a first-time guest, you belong here at Victory Christian Church.

Old Testament Trivia Question
Q: In the Book of Obadiah, which nation was condemned for standing by and rejoicing when disaster struck Israel?
A: The nation of Edom was condemned for its pride and cruelty, for standing on the sidelines and gloating over Judah’s suffering instead of helping.
Scripture Reference:
“But thou shouldest not have looked on the day of thy brother in the day that he became a stranger; neither shouldest thou have rejoiced over the children of Judah in the day of their destruction.”
— Obadiah 1:12 (KJV)
New Testament Trivia Question
Q: According to the Apostle Peter, what must believers add to their faith in order to grow strong and fruitful in their knowledge of Jesus Christ?
A: Believers are urged to add virtue, knowledge, temperance, patience, godliness, brotherly kindness, and charity, so they may not be barren or unfruitful in their faith.
Scripture Reference:
“And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;
And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness.”
— 2 Peter 1:5–6 (KJV)
Good Job! Victory today is yours! Sincerely, - Pastor K
BIBLE VERSES OF THE MONTH!
Old Testament Verse of the Month – Job 23:10 (NKJV)
“But He knows the way that I take;
When He has tested me, I shall come forth as gold.”
Think about this:
Even in seasons of loss or confusion, God is never uncertain about your path. Like Job, we may not understand every trial, but God uses each test to refine our faith and strengthen our character. The fire you’re facing is not meant to destroy you—it’s meant to reveal the gold within you. Trust that God is shaping something precious in you through every challenge.
New Testament Verse of the Month – Philemon 1:7 (NKJV)
“For we have great joy and consolation in your love, because the hearts of the saints have been refreshed by you, brother.”
Think about this:
Encouragement is a ministry all its own. Paul praised Philemon for his love and the way he lifted others’ spirits. In a weary world, your kindness, words, and presence can refresh the hearts of those around you. Be the reason someone feels seen, strengthened, and reminded that God still works through His people to bring comfort and hope.

A Great Reason for Men to Come to Church
Find Real Brotherhood. Experience True Breakthroughs.
Scripture Reference (NKJV): “Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.” — Galatians 6:2
Men often carry the weight of family, work, and personal struggles in silence. But God never intended you to walk alone. The word bear means to lift, support, and help bring relief. At Victory Christian Church, you’ll find a brotherhood where men stand shoulder to shoulder—encouraging one another, praying together, and celebrating victories big and small.
If another church has ever disappointed you, give Victory a try. We believe in real relationships, straight talk, and the life-changing power of Jesus Christ. Whether you’re searching for direction, strength, or simply a place to belong, there’s a seat waiting for you!
Come as you are. Bring a brother, a co-worker, or a neighbor. Victory Today is Yours!
