From the Desk of Pastor K
Victory Christian Church of Port Arthur, Texas
Dear Victory Family and Friends,
Greetings in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ! I hope this message finds you blessed, encouraged, and standing strong in your faith. As we press forward into a powerful June, I’m reaching out to ask for your prayers, support, and full participation in what God is doing at Victory Christian Church.
A Special Prayer Request – Our Victory Mini-Bus!
We are believing God for a blessing — a “new to us” used 14-passenger Victory Church mini-bus (see the picture next to this post)! This vehicle will be a game-changer for our ministry. We need reliable transportation to pick up members and guests from our local neighborhoods, travel to special events and retreats, and answer the call to minister in other cities. Please join us in prayer that God will provide the funds we need — and if God puts it on your heart to give toward this cause, know that your seed will help us reach souls and serve with excellence.
June 2025 – A Month of Power-Packed Ministry!
Get ready — we have a full month of powerful opportunities to grow, fellowship, worship, and serve:
This is the time for maximum involvement and maximum impact. I encourage every member, visitor, and friend of Victory to get involved, bring someone with you, and lift your prayers for our church family and vision.
Together, we’re building more than a church — we’re building a movement that reaches lives for Christ.
See you at every event — and on that bus when we get it!
In Christ’s Victory,
Pastor K

New Testament Trivia Question (KJV)
Q: What miraculous event led to Paul and Silas being freed from prison?
A: A great earthquake shook the prison, opening the doors and loosening everyone’s bands.
Scripture Reference:
"And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed."

BIBLE VERSES OF THE MONTH!
Old Testament Verse of the Month – Isaiah 41:6 (KJV)
"They helped every one his neighbour; and every one said to his brother, Be of good courage."
Think about this:
Encouragement is powerful. God’s Word reminds us that we are called to build one another up. A simple word or act of kindness can strengthen someone’s faith and give them courage for the journey ahead.
New Testament Verse of the Month – 1 Thessalonians 5:11 (KJV)
"Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do."
Think about this:
The Apostle Paul urges believers to intentionally encourage and lift each other up. In a world that often tears people down, we are called to be voices of hope and support. Your encouragement can change someone’s day—or even their life!
