A Message from Pastor’s Desk
By Kelvin L. Solco (Pastor K)
To My Victory Christian Church (VCC) Family and Friends,
March is here, and it is packed with exciting opportunities for us to worship, serve, and grow together in faith! God is doing great things at Victory Christian Church, and I want to personally invite you to be part of every moment.
Let’s gather in God’s house every Sunday at 11:00 AM for worship! There’s something powerful about coming together as a church family to lift up the name of Jesus. And don’t forget our 6:30 PM Wednesday Night Live services—a time of great music, an uplifting Word, and a midweek faith boost to keep you encouraged!
I encourage everyone to bring a friend to church! There is power in community, and together, we will continue to grow in faith and purpose. Whether it’s for Sunday Worship, Wednesday Night Live, a special event, or a service opportunity, let’s share the joy of the Lord with others.
Stay encouraged, stay connected, and most importantly, stay in the presence of God. I can’t wait to see you at our upcoming events! May God richly bless you and your families as we journey together in His service.
Victory today is yours!
– Always at Your Service, Pastor K
During the month of March 2025, we will pray for homeless women and children! In Jesus name!
Question: When God told Abraham to sacrifice his son Isaac, what did Abraham do to show his trust in God?
Answer: Abraham obeyed God and took Isaac to Mount Moriah, trusting that God would provide. At the last moment, God provided a ram for the sacrifice instead (Genesis 22:1-14).
Question: When Peter walked on water toward Jesus, what caused him to start sinking?
Answer: Peter began to sink when he took his eyes off Jesus and focused on the wind and waves instead, showing a lapse in trust. But when he cried out, Jesus immediately saved him (Matthew 14:28-31).
Both of these stories remind us that trusting God completely leads to His provision and protection!
Victory today is yours! Sincerely, - Pastor K
Old Testament: Proverbs 13:11 – "Wealth gained hastily will dwindle, but whoever gathers little by little will increase it."
This verse reminds us that true and lasting wealth is built with patience, diligence, and wise stewardship. Quick riches often lead to financial instability, but steady, faithful work brings lasting prosperity.
New Testament: Luke 16:10 – "Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much."
Jesus teaches us the importance of faithfulness in small things. When we are responsible with the resources God has given us, He can entrust us with more. Wealth, when managed wisely, becomes a tool for God's purposes.

A Message to the Victory Christian Church Family
For Members Only
Dear VCC Family,
March is a month of faith, fellowship, and action at Victory Christian Church, and we need you to help make it a great success! As we continue to grow and serve, we encourage each and every member to take an active role in the ministry this month.
There is power in an invitation! Let’s fill God’s house by inviting friends, family, co-workers, and neighbors to join us in worship every Sunday at 11:00 AM and for Wednesday Night Live at 6:30 PM. March is the perfect time to welcome new souls into the VCC family!
Help spread the word of what God is doing at VCC by liking and following our Church Facebook page. Engage with posts, share updates, and let others know about the powerful ministry happening right here!
We are collecting non-perishable food items for the Food Pantry and March Food Distribution. Additionally, we are preparing for the March 29, 2025, Pop-Up Church at OW Collins Apartments. Please bring your donations to help us be the hands and feet of Jesus to those in need.
In addition to our normal tithes and offerings, we ask every member to prayerfully consider donating an extra $45 this month to our Building Fund. This investment will help us continue growing and improving our church facilities for generations to come.
We are believing God for a donation of crushed limestone to begin construction on our proposed church parking lot. Let’s come together in prayer that the Lord will provide exactly what we need!
If you have a message to share or creative ideas for our Church Podcast Studio, see Brother Reggie to get involved. Let’s use this platform to spread God’s Word and inspire others!
We are thrilled to welcome 28 students arriving at VCC on March 9, 2025, at 5:30 PM for a fun-filled week of evangelism, church remodeling, and the Wednesday Night Mini-Revival. Join Pastor K and the welcoming committee as we extend our love and hospitality to these young men and women who are coming to serve alongside us.
We give thanks for our growing partnership with Christ’s Kingdom Builders Church in Lusaka, Zambia, under the leadership of Bishop Howard Ngwira. Let’s continue to pray for their growth and for the strengthening of this important Kingdom connection.
Thank you for being an integral part of Victory Christian Church. Your faithfulness, generosity, and willingness to serve make a difference in our church, our community, and beyond. Together, we are advancing the Kingdom of God and spreading the love of Jesus Christ! May the Lord bless and guide us as we step into 2025 with faith, hope, and a renewed sense of purpose.

Victory Christian Church Hosts Successful Financial Freedom Seminar
Victory Christian Church (VCC) proudly hosted its highly anticipated Financial Freedom Seminar on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at 11:00 AM. This empowering session continued our ongoing discussion on Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs) and featured a special segment on common mistakes to avoid when purchasing a new or used car.
Attendees gained valuable financial wisdom and practical strategies to build long-term wealth, make informed investment decisions, and avoid costly financial missteps. Whether you are just starting your financial journey or looking to refine your wealth-building approach, this seminar provided actionable insights to help you achieve true financial independence.
Recognizing the importance of making this knowledge accessible to a broader audience, VCC also made the event available via Zoom for participants outside the Southeast Texas – Southwestern Louisiana community. This allowed individuals from across the country to engage, learn, and take steps toward financial empowerment from the comfort of their own homes.
To support this initiative and future seminars, participants were encouraged to contribute a donation of $14 or more via the Church CashApp: $JoinVictory. These generous contributions enable VCC to continue providing valuable educational opportunities that equip individuals and families with the tools to thrive financially.
Don’t miss the next opportunity to deepen your financial knowledge and take control of your financial future! Stay connected with Victory Christian Church for updates on upcoming seminars, workshops, and special events designed to bless and uplift our community.
